Chief Consultant
Prof. Dr. Mst. Rashida Begum is an OB/GYN and Fertility Specialist and founder of Infertility Care and Research Centre (ICRC). She is one of the pioneers of this field in Bangladesh. She graduated in medical science in 1982 and completed fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1994. She was awarded Diploma and Masters in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, UK in 1997 and 1999 respectively. After having extensive training in infertility and ART from UK and Singapore, she started her journey with infertility management. In 2006 she completed MSc in clinical embryology from the University of Leeds, UK. Since 2002 she has been working in this field with high level of competency. Till today many thousand couples got babies from her treatment. She is a dedicated researcher as well. For best research work she received Young Scientist Award from Asia Oacenia Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG) in 2005. She has the experience of performing a high volume of laparoscopic surgery, ovum pick up, ICSI and so on. Her research interests include insulin resistance as it relates to weight and infertility problems and she awarded PhD in 2014 with insulin resistance in PCOS. She has successfully implemented a number of regimens that has been extremely effective in restoring ovulation in PCOS.
Chief Embryologist
Dr. Ehsan Quadir graduated in 1980 from Dhaka Medical College and completed Diploma in Child Health from The University of Dhaka in 1995. In spite of specialty in different field he acquired the knowledge and skills of embryology to establish this centre. He got extensive training on embryology from India. He is dedicated in lab management and lab work. He has more than 20 national and international publications.
Senior Consultant
Prof. Dr. Hosne Ara Baby is an expert and competent OB/GYN and Fertility specialist. She completed her graduation in medical science in 1985 from SSMC and Fellowship in OB/GYN from BCPS in 1994. She did government service for 20 years and worked as resident surgeon and consultant in different govt. Medical College Hospital. In 2006 she joined Labaid specialized hospital as senior consultant and worked there for 2 years. In 2008 she joined Enam medical college as Associate professor and upgraded as Professor in 2009. After giving service as Professor for long time she has gone to self-retirement and has been working devotedly for infertile couples. She received special training on laparoscopic surgery and regularly practicing this surgery. She received extensive training on infertility management and Assisted Reproductive Technology under direct guidance of Dr. Rashida Begum who is the founder of ICRC (Infertility Care & Research Centre). In addition, she also received training from IRM (Institute of Reproductive Medicine), India under supervision of Prof, B N Chakravarty. She joined ICRC and is doing regular consultancy as a fertility specialist. She also offers consultations to the patients of Bangladesh Specialized Hospital (BSH), Dhaka.

Dr. Tahmina Ahmed is an Infertility and Reproductive Medicine Specialist and Assistant Professor of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). She holds FCPS qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. With 12 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ahmed provides comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment for infertility. Her areas of expertise include: a).In vitro fertilization (IVF) b). She is an expert in every facet of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), with a rare command of both clinical patient management and advanced embryology. Dr. Khan's authority in the field is built on a comprehensive skill set that spans the entire fertility care spectrum. She is adept in patient counseling, ovulation induction, and stimulation protocols, and is equally proficient in complex laboratory procedures—including ovum pickup, embryo culture, embryo transfer, and cryopreservation (freezing and thawing). Her expertise extends across the full continuum of infertility management, encompassing monitoring, IUI, and every stage of the IVF/ICSI cycle. Her clinical acumen is underpinned by rigorous international training and credentials. She holds an MBBS under Dhaka university (2001) and completed specialized ART training at the prestigious Soong Poong Women's Clinic in South Korea (2007). She further earned a Diploma in Reproductive Medicine & Embryology from the International School of Medicine, Germany (2018), followed by a Diploma (2021) and MSc (2022) in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine from the University of South Wales, UK. Dr. Nahid Parveen (Rumki) is a Consultant at ICRC (Infertility Care and Research Center), serving with dedication since May 2012. She completed her MBBS Under Dhaka Univerisity(2006) and earned her MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from BMU (2021). She was awarded Best Intern Doctor in Medicine at Bangladesh Medical College in 2007. Her ART expertise is backed by specialized training from NOVA IVI Fertility Clinics, Kolkata, India (2013), and a Certificate Course on Reproductive Medicine and ART from ICRC & NSU (2022). She also holds a Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography (DMU) from Daffodil International University. Dr. Rumki is proficient in all aspects of obstetrics, Gynaecological surgery& infertility care, including patient counseling, ovulation induction and monitoring, transvaginal ultrasonography, and ovum pick-up. She has attended numerous international conferences, including ASPIRE Hong Kong (2019) and Philippines (2024). Dr. Nasrin Farhana Nipa is a dedicated Consultant in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine at ICRC. She completed her MBBS from Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogra, and earned her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from NIPSOM. She has also completed her Diploma (2023) and MSc (2024) in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine from the University of South Wales, UK, and has nearly completed her Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography. With extensive experience in infertility care, Dr. Nipa is proficient in-patient counseling, ovulation induction and monitoring, transvaginal ultrasonography, and all ART-related gynaecological procedures. Senior Medical Officer
Dr. Tutul Rani Bhattacharyya is a Senior Medical Officer at ICRC, where she has been serving since April 2018. She completed her MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barishal (1998). Her extensive career spans over two decades in reproductive health. She worked with Marie Stopes Clinic Society for many years, including as a Reproductive Health Specialist at Marie Stopes Premium-1. She also gained valuable experience at the Infertility Unit of BSMMU's Gynae & Obstetrics Department. Dr. Bhattacharyya holds a Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography from State University (2012) and a Certificate Course on Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM (2013). She also completed Emergency Obstetric Care (EOC) training from Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital. She is proficient in-patient counseling, ovulation induction and monitoring, transvaginal ultrasonography, and all ART-related gynaecological procedures. Dr. Afroza Rahman (Deana) is a dedicated Consultant at ICRC, serving with sincerity and commitment. She completed her MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and holds a Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics. She is currently pursuing FCPS Part II in Obs & Gynae. She has also completed her Diploma (2025) and MSc (2026) in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine from the University of South Wales. Dr. Deana is trained in Ultrasonography and is proficient in all aspects of infertility care, including patient counseling, ovulation induction and monitoring, transvaginal ultrasonography, IUI, and all ART-related gynaecological procedures. Embryologist
Dr. Joyee Ahmed is a Clinical Embryologist with an MBBS degree from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and is registered with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC Reg. No. A-105312). She holds an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Valencia, Spain, and has received advanced, direct mentorship from renowned experts including Professor Dr. Rashida Begum. She is currently serving as a Clinical embryologist at Infertility Care and Research Center (ICRC), where she applies her clinical embryology expertise in reproductive medicine. With specialized training in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproductive Technology, Dr. Ahmed is dedicated to advancing fertility care and laboratory excellence in reproductive healthcare.
